Project Method: To be discussed at future meeting.
Expected outcomes: There are 4 main areas that the school would like to target
1. How are they going to manage their school website.
2. Assessment in ICT
3. Extension of NOF - to build on ICT skills for personal,professional and curriculum use.
4. Integrating Whiteboard/Digital Camera into the school program.
Timeline:
We will have a meeting on Tuesday 10th December to discuss some aims and ways to go forward in the school.
Resources available to project: 2 laptops which staff is using for personal use. (Kirsten Morrell and Sharmi Mattison)
ICT suite with 12 computers and a whiteboard that does not work properly.
Constraints and Opportunities that have been discovered:
Time is the key factor. Would be very keen to have some training for staff on ICT basics and PowerPoint.
Additional Input that might be useful on this project:
ICT Training, assistance with website maintenance.
The headteacher's current view on the project:
John is at the forefront of the project and feels like they can make headway with some assistance from us. He will discuss the ideas he has with staff and we will meet again in a few weeks to discuss aims.
