What can we learn from other groups and schools undertaking inpirational e-learning work?

Roberty Williamson School, York
Class 5 are trying out a handheld computer called a SimPad.
This project, a collaboration between York schools and York LEA, allows pupils to take the SimPads between home and school and seeks to evaluate the benefit to learning of one-to-one ownership of a handheld computer. It involves 3 schools during the next two terms.

Inspirational e-learning projects don't necessarily depend on expensive new kit - it is the quality of the thinking and planning for using whatever ICT resources are available that distinguishes inspiring and transformational ICT.

Let us know of other sources of inspiration in e-learning that are worth sharing and we will feature them here. inspiration@web-wise-wapping.net
