How we can help
The Web Wise Wapping project support team wishes to help partner schools to make good use of project equipment and schools' own ICT resources on worthwhile ICT work.
Linking in with what we do anyway
"I am a busy teacher with a job that takes up all my time.
How can I cope with doing a project too?
"

We understand what busy places schools are - so we aim to bring solutions - not problems - to schools. This project is designed to blend in with day-to-day curriculum work and not to be extra to it.

Help with developing our use of ICT
"I know that I need to get up to speed with using computers.
How will this project help me do that?
"

We will try to help out with whatever method of support is useful.
We have made a set of streamlined guides to using computers available to web-wise-wapping teachers.
Help with recording our project work
"How will I find the time to write this up?"
The project support team can work with the school to record progress on the project. We can capture pupils work in pictures, and record what teachers and pupils say about the project. We do the writing! This should help teachers gain the Certificate of Completion for their project..

Help with writing our action research work
"I would like to gain credit but I dont suppose I will get round to it?"

We can work with project teachers to document the action research work to soften the burden of writing. This can lead, first to a certificate, and then to 20 credits from the Institute of Education towards a Masters degree.
Let us know if we can be of help. teamwork@web-wise-wapping.net
