Criteria for an effective community e-learning project
The Web-Wise-Wapping project was set up to promote an effective e-learning community and to enrich work. A good project will provide good scope for study and for action research.
A good example of a WWW project would have some of the following characteristics.

The project will:

make effective use of resources provided through the project
promote the development of the WWW community
promote understanding of the different cultures that contribute to this community
enrich school work in promoting the skills of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
develop new project work involving creativity, thinking skills and citizenship.
involve parents, other schools, or other members of the community
demonstrate effective new ways of learning with ICT
show how teaching can be made more effective using ICT
contribute to the development of a school e-learning strategy
