Accreditation

The diagram below shows the route for teachers and headteachers to gain accreditation for their action research work on the WWW project.

Note that a teacher will commence the project as a Scholar.
On completion of a paper describing the action research they will qualify as a Fellow of MirandaNet and will receive a certificate of the Web Wise Wapping Fellowship.
This certificate confirms that the teacher has undertaken action research beyond the scope of the national NOF ICT training programming and can be considered to be an accomplished e-teacher.

Please note that the project support team will help teachers to capture and report the evidence of the action research in order to remove the document creation burdens from teachers. Please contact research@web-wise-wapping to set this up.

A further stage involving creation of a self-evaluation report, followed by an interview to discuss the impact of the project on teaching and learning can lead to the award of 20 transferable credits from the Institution of Education.
A Fellow who completes their credits will become a Senior Fellow of MirandaNet under this scheme.
